Who are we?

Johnson Commercial Agents is an independent ( or better yet interdependent) marketing agency for some of the best foodservice equipment manufacturers in the world. So what are manufacturers agents? History

Founded in 1958 by Warren E. Johnson, the Company incorporated in 1967 as the Warren E. Johnson Company, Inc. We are manufacturers representatives, representing a number of national and international leading edge commercial food service equipment manufacturers. We cover the States of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and the western counties of Wisconsin.  We specialized in some of the more troublesome and complex segments of the industry.  The specialties include cook-chill, blast chill, shock freeze, steam equipment, cooking, warming and serving equipment, vacuum packaging, utility distribution, fire suppression, ventilation and HVAC, energy recovery, water purification, treatment and filtration, in addition to serving lines, tray and meal delivery and a number of other specialties.   Much of our emphasis in on production cooking equipment and the ventilation systems necessary for their safe operation.  Our average tenure with the manufactures we represent is (16)years, with some contracts dating back to 1959.

To employ quality, principled people with positive customer service attitudes that are thirsty to learn and willing to take initiative to enable us to professionally and profitably represent our manufacturers interests in our market, ever mindful that our primary responsibility is assuring our manufacturers long term market viability.

Vision

To be industry educators, advancing products, concepts and ideas that enhance public safety and deliver real bottom line values to food service operators.  To conduct ourselves in the most ethical and professional manner we can to protect the reputations of our manufacturers, customers and ourselves.

Marketing

We work closely with our dealers and food service equipment contractor customers to develop sales programs that work. We participate in many seminars and frequently contribute to local and national trade publications.   We have four outside sales professionals and an outstanding inside support staff.  We believe the marketing programs need to be focused on customer satisfaction.
